2. Use of Service
Betah Home provides smart home application services that allow users to register accounts, connect supported smart home devices, synchronize device data, and control compatible devices through our application and backend services.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Betah Home services in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity, security, or performance of our services.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the service, user accounts, devices, or related systems.
- Use the application to control devices that you do not own or are not authorized to manage.
- Reverse engineer, modify, or misuse the application, backend API, or smart home integrations.
3. User Obligations
As a user, you agree to:
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering or using our services.
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account.
- Ensure that smart devices connected to your account are owned by you or used with proper authorization.
- Use device pairing, Bluetooth scanning, Wi-Fi pairing, and local network features responsibly.
4. Smart Home Device Integration
Betah Home may integrate with third-party smart home platforms, device manufacturers, or IoT providers, including but not limited to Tuya-compatible devices. Device availability, device control, pairing success, cloud synchronization, and local control may depend on the third-party provider, device firmware, network condition, account status, and supported features.
We do not guarantee that every smart device, brand, firmware version, pairing mode, or network environment will be fully compatible with Betah Home.
5. Account and Device Security
You are responsible for keeping your account, mobile device, Wi-Fi network, smart home devices, and login credentials secure. You agree not to share credentials, device access, or control permissions with unauthorized parties.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, design, application logic, API structure, graphics, logos, and software related to Betah Home are owned by PT Blackfish Code Squad Indonesia or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
7. Third-Party Services
Betah Home may rely on or connect to third-party services, including cloud infrastructure, authentication providers, smart home providers, and device platforms. Your use of such third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.
8. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Betah Home, PT Blackfish Code Squad Indonesia, our affiliates, licensors, service providers, employees, agents, officers, or directors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the services.
Betah Home should not be used as the sole system for safety-critical, emergency, medical, life support, or security-critical purposes.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Betah Home, PT Blackfish Code Squad Indonesia, and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the services or violation of these Terms.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Indonesia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on our website, and your continued use of the service following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
